Israeli-Syrian Conflict Can Be Resolved In Minutes

Breaking News: Peace between Israel and Syria could be achieved within 35 minutes, if Iran would stay out of the matter, said former President Bill Clinton (see below).

Such a simple solution, why didn't we think of it?!

Although we could've probably achieved it in 2 minutes, if pigs knew how to fly.

Former US president Bill Clinton said that peace between Israel and Syria could be achieved within 35 minutes, if Iran would stay out of the matter.

In an interview with London-based Arabic newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, Clinton said that the two states were on the verge of reaching a peace agreement in 1998, adding that negotiations behind closed doors and without media intervention, such as those conducted in Oslo in 1993, were the only way to solve the conflict.

The former US president said the talks between then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa in Shepherdstown, West Virginia in 2000, which were held during his term, could serve as the basis for a solution to the conflict.

In his book "My Life" from 2004 Clinton wrote that the Syrians were more flexible than the Israelis in the negotiations and claimed that former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to give up the Golan Heights in exchange for a defense treaty with the US.
