Council On Islamist Thugocracy

CONTRIBUTORS' CORNER: Headphones on (listening to The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band), fingertips tapping at my keyboard; reminds me of the last time I took on the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Washington, DC.

My music tastes have changed (slightly) in these past five years, but not my love for liberty and those who fight to promote it worldwide.

The tactics of the Muslim Brotherhood haven't changed much in the past few years either, but more and more people are waking up to its dangerous ideology (especially since "My Life Inside CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood" was published in February 18, 2011).

Egypt's Arab Spring seems like a lifetime ago, considering June 30, 2013 and the ensuing chaos brought on by the Muslim Brotherhood. 33 million Egyptians rose up to ensure the MB and Mohammed Morsi did not dismantle their nascent democracy.

Now it's time for America to rid itself of the MB and its far-reaching tentacles.

Today when you criticize the MB, you're less likely to be a called an "Islamophobe" (as if the MB represented all Muslims), but we still have a long way to go. CAIR continues to mock the good work of real civil rights organizations, while acting as a foreign agent of the MB and registered as a legitimate 501(c)(3) organization in the US. Why hasn't CAIR been required to register as a foreign agent of the MB, under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA)?

If you wonder why so many in the US government (from both sides of the aisle) have been taking such a wishy-washy stance toward the MB in Egypt now, you're not alone.

Rather than crediting CAIR for the credibility given them by journalists and politicians, I fault us and our lack of knowledge/understanding about the MB, its sordid history and Islamic fundamentalism, in general.

Nevertheless, I'm encouraged, as freedom-lovers worldwide should be. It appears the Egyptian people, through their military and police, are working hard to strip the terrorist organization of any kind of legitimacy. Question is, when will America follow?

On my part, I will be working to legally defeat the MB in our courts by defending myself in the civil case, CAIR v Gaubatz. At this point, Judge Kollar-Kotelly is expected to either dismiss the case, or send it to trial, where my actions defending America from the MB will be judged by a jury of my peers. Either way, liberty and truth win. Peace.

Chris Allen Gaubatz is owner of Chris Allen Gaubatz Publishing. His extensive research on CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood in America is the subject of bestselling book "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld Conspiring to Islamize America," by Paul Sperry and Dave Gaubatz (2009).
