Flotillas Of Islamic Goodwill

Russia and North Korea are continuing to ship weapons and ammunition to Syria, despite the ongoing bloody repression of the Syrian uprising (see here and here). And guess who's providing the rubles for these shipments?

Yep, you guessed it, the Iranian government. You know, the one that’s supposedly fearful of those so-called harsh sanctions imposed on it by the US, UN and the rest of the world and yet to take effect.

As the loons in Iran fund the massacre in Syria; and N. Korea, renowned for starving its own people, as well as Russia, our trusted ally with whom we signed that absurd New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) agreement - absurd for us, that is, not for them - provide the transportation for instruments of mass murder to Syria, what are the US, EU and UN doing?

Well, Cesspool Central (aka the UN) is churning out "sobering reports" on the continuing Syrian massacre. You see, UN attempts to stop the bloodshed have failed, since doing anything to stop massacres or genocides is cause for veto by the globe's stalwart defenders of freedom (and human rights), i.e., Russia and China.

Nevertheless, the UN has announced “the full cadre of 300 UN observers authorized by the [Security] Council will be in Syria in the coming days.” Marvelous, no doubt the new cadre will be as effective as the existing one, currently observing the bloodshed. After all, these observers are crucial to churning out sobering reports, and as reported by CNN, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon wrote in a letter to the Security Council that he is "deeply concerned that the Syrian violence has not stopped despite the presence of the monitors" (go figure?!).

Meanwhile, America’s Campaigner-in-Chief and his trusty Secretary of State have been issuing strong statements and brutal blasts of adverbs against the Assad regime (no doubt to complement those sobering reports).

And while not whispering sweet-nothings into Russian ears; golfing, or harassing our allies – at least those who still pay attention to us, i.e., a sum total of ONE (Israel) - our Campaigner-in-Chief, together with the P5 +1 (i.e., the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, which include Russia and China, plus Germany) and his trusty Sec of State are engaged in tête-à-têtes with Iran. Unfortunately, but predictably, these tête-à-têtes have resulted in nothing, except setting dates for subsequent tête-à-têtes. The Iranian regime, of course, is delighted, as that gives them more time to churn out contributions to mankind (see “U.S. study: Iran has enough uranium for five nuclear bombs.”).

So yes, what a wonderful world we live in…. Then again, as author Aldous Huxley famously said, "Maybe this world is another planet's Hell."
