Our Future Leaders
October 31, 2011
Winston Churchill once said: "The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter."
Well, take a moment to behold our future voters and leaders:

Here Come Da Zombies...
October 10, 2011
Check out the video below of the “Occupy Atlanta” protesters (i.e., cousins of the “Occupy Wall Street” bunch).
It’s downright creepy. Welcome to the revolution, folks!

He's Baaack!
October 10, 2011
He's baaaaaack, and telling it like it is...again!
"I realize I'll probably lose a few friends with this video, but that's okay, friends like that I could do without," declares Pat Condell, with his droll humor and proper British accent.
Pontificating this time about The Great Palestinian Lie, Condell adds:
"And as part of that story, the bogus claim for Palestinian statehood [which] is currently passing through the United Nations, and [which] we're all waiting to see what plops out the other end..."
Such a classy guy!

Some Quick "Updates"
September 27, 2011
Just a few quick updates, folks (and some good wishes):
♦ Remember our good friend Erdogan, ya know, the (Islamist) Turkish PM whom the Obama administration just inked a deal with to sell them Predator drones? Well, check out good ol’ Erdogan’s latest brainfart:
"UN should impose sanctions on Israel like Iran": In an interview with TIME, Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan criticized the UN for leveling sanctions on Iran and Sudan, while avoiding implementing trade measures against Israel - a move, Erdogan said, could have helped solved the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Story here.
♦ In related news, check out my favorite Quote of the Day:
"If I wanted to improve Israeli hasbara [advocacy], I would buy media outlets around the world and have Erdogan talk from morning until night." ~ Israeli FM Avigdor Lieberman, on Turkish PM's accusations against Israel in media interviews during UN General Assembly in NY. Story here.
♦ Bravo to the new annual ritual at Cesspool Central (aka the UN), where a few members of the so-called civilized world muster some courage and ...Drumroll please... walk out on Ahmadinejad’s speech! Story here.
♦ And regarding that phobia (definition: “an abnormal intense and irrational fear of a given situation, organism, or object”), which CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) and other Islamic groups love to accuse us all of, check out “Sharia Vigilante Street Justice in America” and the picture below. It’s not a pretty picture, but it begs the question: So where’s the “irrational” (i.e., phobic) part of Islamophobia?
♦ Finally, in other news, Palestinian detainees in Israel prisons begin a hunger strike to protest an end to the solitary confinement of PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) leader Ahmad Saadat. And with that, we’d like to wish the protestors the best of luck, and urge them to never give up! Story here.

Saudi Chutzpah
September 12, 2011
Surely they jest?! If this is some kind of warped 9/11 joke, then it’s in poor taste, to say the least.
Turns out the U.S. is negotiating with Saudi Arabia an “Open Skies” agreement, as if the 10th anniversary of 9/11 wasn't reminder enough for anyone to refrain from using the words “Saudi” and “open skies” in the same sentence (15 of the 19 hijackers, not to mention the barbarian behind it all, Osama bin Laden, R.I.H., were Saudis).
While in other royal news, Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal warns us today on the pages of the New York Times (i.e., all the garbage that’s fit to print), that if the U.S. vetoes the Palestinian bid for statehood at the UN this month, the Saudis will no longer be our BFFs.
You see, according to Turki, losing him and Saudi Arabia as best friends would mean (among other things) a missed opportunity for the U.S. “and Saudi Arabia to contain Iran and prevent it from destabilizing the region.”
Got that? Turki of Arabia and his fellow Wahhabis, who are p-e-t-r-i-f-i-e-d of Iran (just last year the U.S. approved $60 billion in arms sales to the Saudis, supposedly to protect them from Iran) are threatening to not help us prevent Iran from destabilizing the region. Can you say CHUTZPAH in Mecca-speak?!
As the Palestinians, the Saudis, indeed the whole world uses this time, or rather this presidency, to let loose with their threats and extortions, let’s hope the U.S. government finds its cojones and tells the bottom-feeders what to do, er, where to put those threats and extortions.

Notable Quotables
"Mr. Netanyahu is one of the most media-savvy politicians on the planet. On Friday he appeared live via video link on 'Real Time with Bill Maher,' taking the host’s alternately sardonic and serious line of questioning with gazelle-like alacrity."
~ Anthony Grant, jourrnalist who has written for many major newspapers and worked in television at Paris and Tel Aviv, interviewing former PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, at the outset of Mr. Netanyahu's new book (more here).
