ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Captain Charles T. ("Chuck") Nash (ret) served for 25 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy, accumulating over 4,300 hours of flight time and 965 carrier landings on nine different aircraft carriers as a Naval Aviator. He served in a variety of operational and staff positions including the Tactical Aircraft Requirements Branch Head on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations in the Pentagon; Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commander In Chief, U.S. Naval Forces Europe; Commanding Officer Strike Fighter Squadron ONE THREE SEVEN; and Operations Officer, Carrier Air Wing THIRTEEN. Additionally, Captain Nash served in two A-7E operational Light Attack squadrons and as an Instructor pilot in two shore-based training squadrons. He also served as a liaison officer with U.S. and foreign special operations forces in Turkey, Northern Iraq and other locations.


Captain Nash is the founder and President of Emerging Technologies International Inc. (ETII), a company focused on understanding military requirements and searching out and identifying high leverage, emerging technologies that can be inserted quickly and inexpensively into tools for our nations’ warfighters. The company also provides consulting services to government agencies and private companies. Captain Nash has most recently been involved in developing new avionics technology for the aviation community, and has lectured at Georgetown University on U.S. policy and military options for dealing with Iran and George Mason University School of Business on the challenges of introducing disruptive, emerging, technologies into the marketplace.

Captain Nash serves on a number of Boards of Directors, and is a FOX News Channel Military Analyst, appearing also on the Fox Business Channel to discuss issues including POL/MIL, terrorism, aerospace/defense, and the impact of technology on the military. He can be heard addressing these same subjects on the Main Street Radio Network and the Radio America Network.
